ONE DAY WEAVER is a Step into India's First Weaving NEP aligned Field Experience for School Children — From the founder of One Day Kisan. Where they observe skilled artisans working on traditional pit and surface looms. ONE DAY WEAVER is an experiential learning initiative that brings India's rich textile heritage to life through immersive, hands-on education.
With a mission to connect students to the journey of fabric — from field to fabric — the program has already engaged 10,000+ students, offering them a unique opportunity to understand traditional weaving practices in an interactive and meaningful way.
Through guided experiences, storytelling, and practical activities, One Day Weaver transforms learning into a living, tactile experience, bridging the gap between history, culture, and modern education.
India is home to countless traditional weaving techniques, each carrying stories passed down through generations. At ONE DAY WEAVER, we aim to reconnect students with these roots and help them appreciate the craftsmanship behind everyday fabric.
Aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, our program blends education, culture, and creativity — allowing children to explore every stage of fabric making: cotton ginning, spinning, block printing, and real-time loom weaving.
To inspire the next generation to connect with India's rich textile heritage and understand the journey of fabric through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
We envision a future where students not only learn from books but also experience knowledge through touch, creativity, and real-world engagement, building a deeper respect for traditional crafts and cultural roots.
A glimpse into the hands-on world of One Day Weaver — real students, real experiences, real learning.
